MALAYSIA KLCC PARK ATTRACTION TOUR

Malaysia KLCC Park
KLCC Park
General Info

Stretched over 50 acres of lush greens, KLCC Park is closely located to Suria KLCC Shopping Centre. It was designed by Roberto Burle Marx to add a touch of lush greens for Petronas Twin Towers as well as nearby areas. There is a manmade lake named Lake Symphony on the grounds spread over 10000 sq. m. and a 43m bridge connects both ends.

Malaysia KLCC Park Attraction Tour

It goes without saying people frequently visit the park only because of Lake Symphony. The water fountains on the lake shoot up the water to around 42m high. You can enjoy the water shows every day at noon and in evenings with your kids. There are around 74 species of 1900 indigenous trees and 40 of these were transplanted from Selangor Turf Club, the former racecourse at the southeast of this city.

Along with several fountains, waterfalls, reflecting pools, and cascades around the park, you can enjoy a lot of facilities in the park, such as benches and shelters, a jogging track stretched over 1.3 km, kids play area spread over 2 acres, and sculptures and patterned footpaths. The swimming pool for kids is in the western stretch of KLCC Park.

Wading Pool

Located near kids’ playground, the opening hours are different in wading pool from the park. It remains closed on Mondays and opens from 10am to 7.30pm from Tuesday to Sunday.

Getting there

You first have to get Suria KLCC to reach KLCC Park. KLCC Light Rapid Transit (LRT) Station is the nearest train station towards the twin towers on Kelana Jaya Line. Once you reach the station, follow the signs leading to Suria KLCC. It takes only 5 minutes of walk from air conditioning pathway. Once you get in the shopping mall, go up to Ground Level (G) through an escalator and walk along the bubble lifts at the center of floor. Exit is just located opposite such lifts to KLCC Park.
